In August, he began his racing career at the wheel of a Renault 5 GT Turbo during the Almofrei Hill Climb, a qualifying event for the Spanish Hill Climb Championship.

He began his GT career with the MRW team's Lamborghini and organized the Honda Spain team for the 24 Hours of Barcelona, achieving 1st, 2nd and 7th places.
